Retro Rifle Divisions
GWOT division
This division is for the cloners. The rifle should look like a M4, M16, Mk12, or MK18. The parts don’t need to be exact, but it should pass the 5 foot inspection test of looking close enough to a rifle and accessories issued 9-11-2001 through 12-28-2014.
Rifle Irons division
This is the division to shoot to appreciate how much easier things are with modern optics today. You can use a retro rifle or your modern rifle with BUIS and the optics removed for training value.
Heavy Irons division
Whether you want to use "the Greatest Battle Implement Ever Devised" or “The Right Arm of the Free World” if you want to shoot full power rifle cartridges this is the division for you.
Red Dot Division
While easier than iron sights, red dots are still more challenging at range than doing the same with magnification. Many people have rifles that fit into this division, but don’t take them out to matches as often. This division is your reason to see how fast you can be without magnification.
